Sarah is a practising buddhist herself but in her book she is not encouraging you to become one. Rather she has taken all the best of Buddhist teachings and applied it to art of being a zen mother. I have read this book sooo slowly as you can not go rushing with this one, especially when the whole point is to slow down and pay attention. Before even finishing her first book, I ordered the next two in the series, that’s how much I loved it. Have a look at the gorgeous covers, makes you happy and calm just by holding the book in your hand.
I can’t seem to find much info on this writer, let alone a blog, which is a shame really. Amazon tells me that her books keep on getting reprinted which means that people are buying and hence reading her books. This is simply awesome. The other ones are calledBuddhism for mothers of young children, becoming a mindful parent and
Buddhism for mothers of school children.
I haven’t actually read these, as yet, but like I said I have bought them as I am sure I would love them anyway. Now that’s saying a lot.
